Below is the process how we draw your cartoon caricature from scratch.

STEP 1 - RECEIVING ORDER & PHOTO(S)
Before we start, we will check thoroughly with your order to see what you really want.
1) BODY SITUATION REQUEST:
"Draw my daughter in t-shirt and skirt with one hand showing the 'peace' sign while holding a teddy bear with the other hand. If not troubling, please add a big flower as a background.
p.s- Don't forget to put a smile on her cute face :)" |

STEP 2 - SKETCHING
Based on the photo we start the initial sketch using 2B Pencil on a piece of paper.
Once this is done, the sketch ends up in your email inbox. We need a "thumbs up" from you before proceeding to the next phase

STEP 3 - INKING
After we got your approval, we proceed with inking the sketch. The artwork then scanned and converted into a digital format on the computer.

STEP 4 - COLORING
The next stage of the process is to start coloring the caricature. We use Adobe Photoshop CS2 to color the caricature. Normally we chose the colors but you can also request for a certain set of colors to be used.

STEP 5 - SHADING & HIGHLIGHTING
We then add the shadows and highlights effects that will enhance the drawing. |

STEP 6 - FINISHING
The final step (if required) is adding the backgrounds, texts and some special effects depending on your order requests.
Once the design is finalized, the final 'ready to print' digital cartoon caricature will be emailed to you. We provide you with a high 300DPI .JPEG file, so you can use the artwork for high quality printing.
And just to be safe, we recommend you burn this file onto a CD for safe keeping.
